HORMONE HEALTH PROGRAM

Every programme is personalised for each individual woman, so you can be sure that my advice is tailored specifically for your aims, and we will be working towards the same desired outcome.

  • HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

    Before we meet you fill out online questionnaires and keep a short food diary. These will help me to tailor your programme for you. We’ll have an initial consultation, and then meet once a week for six weeks.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IN THE SESSIONS?

    It depends on what you need!  Most sessions will include nutrition and healthy eating advice and information, some exercise that fits your abilities and fitness levels, and lifestyle advice, in particular stress management.  You might do some interval training, or you might lie down and meditate.  Your program is built just for you!

  • WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?

    Women dealing with a health condition that may be related to hormones. From weight gain to insomnia, hot flushes to sore breasts, digestive disorders to mental health issues. It’s for women who are perimenopausal, menopausal or post-menopausal.  Women who have low energy, skin problems, memory loss, foggy brain, thyroid and adrenal issues, PMS, food cravings, PCOS, and fibroids.     The program is not for anyone looking for a quick fix, a diet, rapid weight loss, strict meal plans or who thinks that being healthy is about being skinny.  I can’t help unless you understand that to feel better you need to make lasting transformation and lifelong change.  This program is for women who genuinely want to change their relationship with health and food and who are ready to try something new.  Is that you?

  • IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE INCLUDED?

    Each week, you’ll get a handout emailed to you with the main points from that week’s nutrition or lifestyle discussion.  You’ll get a simple to follow video workout that you’ll do for homework, hormone-balancing recipes and meal ideas.

    You’ll get your own exercise kit: a massage ball, resistance band and mini resistance band to use in your workouts. And of course I’ll be here to support you between sessions on email, text or WhatsApp.

    But most importantly, this program isn’t just about the personally tailored nutrition and exercise information and advice.  Throughout the six weeks I’ll be coaching you to implement and use that information to finally transform from someone who really wants to be healthy to someone who actually is.

  • WHAT ABOUT TESTS?

    Just like with your GP, I can’t guess what is happening in your body. Depending on your own set of circumstances, I might recommend saliva, urine and/or blood tests to measure hormone, toxin or nutrient levels.

    Some will be available through your GP, some will need to be done privately – I can help to arrange this.

  • DO YOU PRESCRIBE HORMONES?

    No. I am not a medical doctor and the advice I provide is not intended to and should not replace medical advice. I may refer you back to your GP or to another health care provider if I think it’s necessary, and I would never ask you to ignore your health care providers’ advice or prescriptions.

  • WHEN DOES IT HAPPEN?

    We’ll agree on your appointment time; the same day and time each week to allow us both to manage our diaries more smoothly. The program is available during the week and in the daytime.
